Spirituality & Family
Your
spiritual self has the ability to connect with the unseen forces
that guide our universe. People may call this force God, Allah,
karma, or the spiritual realm. Opening your spiritual self to this
force, or presence, maximizes your energy. You only have to master
the controllable factors; depend on God to manage the rest.

During
the days of Christ, religious leaders were proud, boastful men.
Secure in their upper class status, they enjoyed great power. They
bragged about their spiritual and physical riches. They saw themselves
as better than most men and thus did not need anyone's help. However,
those who were 'poor in spirit' felt 'wretched, and miserable, and
poor, and blind, and naked'. In other words, they needed help!
Although
most successful entrepreneurs may not see themselves as 'wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, or naked', they understand they will never
achieve long-term success unless they master the art of seeking
and gaining help from others. No person is an island and no person
stands alone. Entrepreneurs who are not as successful as they could
be often allow pride to blind them to their need to ask for help.
Learn to be 'poor in spirit' and you'll be amazed at the wonderful
things you'll be able to do and enjoy.
Scripture of Encouragement
"He
opened His mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in
spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew
5:2,3) |
